Student-athletes break records in the classroom

Student-athletes posted their highest collective score on the NCAA annual Academic Progress Rate (APR) report: 980. For the sixth consecutive year, all 21 of Arizona State University’s athletic teams exceeded the minimum scores, with baseball and women’s tennis ranking in the top 10 nationally. Sun Devil athletes also achieved an 80 percent graduation rate – an all-time high.

“We are extremely proud of the outstanding work our coaches and Office of Student-Athlete Development have done in leading our student-athletes in the classroom. We won’t stop here and want the scores to keep trending in the same great direction.” – Steve Patterson, vice president for university athletics
