A healing partnership

Ten years ago, Arizona State University President Michael Crow and Victor Trastek, then CEO of Mayo Clinic in Arizona, envisioned how their organizations could work together to execute the next generation of health science; thus, the Mayo Clinic and ASU partnership was born. Since then, it has fostered medical innovation and health transformation by enabling cutting-edge research on such diseases as Alzheimer’s and cancer, providing treatments to enhance health outcomes and offering a host of dual degree opportunities.

“One of the things that our relationship with the Mayo Clinic gives us is a place for the clinical expression of academic and research initiatives at ASU.” – Teri Pipe, dean for the College of Nursing and Health Innovation
