In three short years, Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College scaled up the number of iTeachAZ student teachers in Arizona’s pre-K-8 schools by 400 percent. The groundbreaking program — the only one of its kind in Arizona — more than doubles the amount of time most future teachers spend in the classroom. This model of teacher preparation provides greater clinical experience through intensive student teaching experiences, making Arizona State University students who graduate from the program a top choice for school principals.
